my past month... in a couple nutshells... i quit my jobs

i quit my jobs.

i was offered an amazing opportunity to work for family search in slc.

i was extremely excited to move to slc and begin this new job.

however, it meant quitting two jobs that i loved so much!

it was so hard to choose not to see those wonderful people every day...

welcome to change. it's hard, but good.

here are some of the moments i shared with those wonderful people in my last 2 weeks.

kirsti's famous chocolate peanut butter cake for myller's birthday.

we were pretty fast at blowing up those balloons while myller was out of the room.

joseph worked on his angry bird project...

kirsti was sad at my farewell lunch...
not sure if it was cause i was leaving or cause the line was long at cafe rio...

my last day. spring party.
this was work? yes.

last day. laurie's going away present.
she was the one who introduced this blessed ice cream to me.
she was not pleased about me leaving.

i ate the ice cream to eat away my sadness.
it worked for a moment.

then i ate some of laurie's mint brownies,
which she also brought for my last day.

last day wearing this name tag.
unless i decide to wear it around some day for fun...

 the last 3 weeks at my job were bittersweet, the last day especially.

it's easy to leave a job you don't like or care about.

but i was leaving 2 jobs that i loved and people i loved.

i know everything happens for a reason.

i'm ready for the next adventure!
