today i went to primary with my madre.

and then i ate her snacks...

and she growled at me.

thank you momma!

princess4 and hubs got me a pretty amazing gift...

some of us were watching for the eclipse...

some of us weren't...

those of us who were watching only saw this:

we played a quick game of duck-duck-goose with tjab

and then returned inside for some hilarious mom-drawings.

when i got back to my apartment, some nice

young men helped me carry up my millions of bags.

i think i'm officially the crazy old lady.

after a couple meetings this morning,

i took off for an early weekend.

the fam caravanned down to st. g

for a little fun & sun.

& her hubs for the drive.

& then who was better at keeping the speed limit.

for christmas my madre bought me

two collections of old movies!

i decided it was time to have a little movie night...

i watched both series in about 2 weeks...

...and then my madre told me she bought me both series.
i watch again and share the joy with others!

not a new obsession, but i was there twice this week.
i'm obsessed with those glasses.

my self-indulgent anthro purchases.

this book is filled with some seriously
 simple & profound truths.

living/working so close to sephora may not be a good thing...

we found the magic ring!

terra mia only liked princess2.
so we all ate her food.

my madre and i cleaned that sink
til it was practically spotless.

one night princess3, princess4 and i went to the chorale concert.
princess4 said that my outfit was "very nautical."
she elaborated with "you should be out on a boat... catching crabs"
laughter erupted.

time with family is the best!

so glad i get them forever.
