my day in a nutshell. may 20.
today i went to primary with my madre.
and then i ate her snacks...
and she growled at me.
birthday ice cream cake!
thank you momma!
princess4 and hubs got me a pretty amazing gift...
some of us were watching for the eclipse...
some of us weren't...
those of us who were watching only saw this:

and then returned inside for some hilarious mom-drawings.
when i got back to my apartment, some nice
young men helped me carry up my millions of bags.
i think i'm officially the crazy old lady.
my day in a nutshell. may 19.
the day started with a family birthday breakfast.
then the madre and i got to spend the whole day together:
errands.
shopping.
hair cut.
nails.
we spent the evening chatting with debbie!
what an uplifting evening!
then we played a few rounds of banagrams
before we called it a night.

and it started so wonderfully!

shanti came over for serious board game night.

after work, katie and i went on a run.
wait, let me rephrase...
katie went on a jog and i went on a walk.
after that we decided to go to the hot tub.
um... unfortunately...
the hot was closed!
so there we were, taking the garbage out
and getting the mail in our swimsuits.
(like all super heros)

my day in a nutshell. may 12.
after some making myself sleep in,
some hilarious infomercials,
frosted flakes,
princess4 & her hubs MIA
& mother's day planning,
we went to the pool
for some long awaited sunbathing!

since we were in st. g,
i got to meet up with A for some twin time at judd's!

i wanted princess3 to quickly see some shakespeare books
at an antique store...
which means we spent 45 min. there:

on our drive back to good ol' utah co.
we made a "quick" stop in hurricane to find a t-shirt.
after 5 stores & no luck, we left.
but we did get to see this
famous hurricane landmark!

we filled up the rest of the drive with
the mile-marker game
&
waving at strangers.

| 9 people waved back. [actually only 8... we gave ourselves 2 points for the semi-driver] shameful. |
that night, angela & i had plans
which involved swimming.
after several awkward moments,
that didn't happen.
we decided to see "the avengers" instead...
in our swimsuits...
which allowed us to eat more.
& we took advantage of that...
