my day in a nutshell. mar 7.

today is the day!

1. i worked all day anxiously awaiting my plane ride to ca!

to be honest, most of the day leading up to said flight is a bit of a blur.

2. here was my traveling outfit...

comfy? yes.

all my bulkiest clothing to save precious space in carry on? absolutely.

cute? obviously.

just ask my boot twin--

3. slc airport is becoming classier.

people are going to want to fly more seeing as they are adding:

cafe rio & smashburger to their food court.

FINALLY!

good food while you're waiting for your flight!

4. princess1 got me to the airport in plenty of time

 so i meandered through the shops--

found this and thought of my mom.

the chocolate issue? seriously. i die.

5. i also gave in and bought an overpriced cpk pizza

and burned the roof of my mouth.

my boot twin watched the whole thing.

6. the flight was wonderful.

part of the time i slept.

{using my scarf as a pillow}

part of the time i looked at the city lights below me through the window.

{i love the window seat}

part of the time i was sad delta only offered peanuts
 and not their delicious biscoff cookies!

{i love those cookies almost as much as i love the window seat}

7. princess2 and her hubs picked me up from the airport!

it was so great to see them!

8. when we arrived at their home, 

jackie wasn't too excited about another person in their home.

so she hid under a table... 

where princess2hubs found her
stash of barbie v-day cards...

she obviously liked that barbie likes cats.

9. princess2 and i stayed up way too late talking.

10. then she kindly {and amazingly}
got the knot out of my necklace!

hurray!

time to get a good night's rest for the adventures awaiting us tomorrow!
