my day in a nutshell. feb 29.

today was a glorious day!

1. i listened to this guy this morning.

i listen to him most mornings.

2. today was the chili cook-off at work!

despite my dislike of beans, there were some delicious and some extremely spicy chili's.

this was only my first plate of chili's...

3. there may have been a bowl of fortune cookies...

and i ate four.

i can't control myself when fortune cookies are around.

first, they are delicious.

second, they remind me of a splendid adventure princess2 and i went on

when we visited the fortune cookie factory.

third, they give you fortunes!

what more could you ask for?

um... these are my fortunes:

4. the padre, madre, princess3 and i went to the jazz game!

thanks to my uncle!

we had a delicious dinner.

we watched the amazing game from amazing seats!

we had delicious dessert at half-time.

why yes. i would like an oreo sundae!

and then i ran into my great friend mer and her boyfriend, dan.

then, i found them and they found me!

love it.

and they sent me this picture.

we convinced padre to stay to the end of the game--

even though we might get stuck in traffic.

as the buzzer rang, we ran up the stairs, and out to the car.

is that a yellow streamer around my neck? yes.
did i grab it as i ran up the stairs of the arena? yes.
