my day in a nutshell. mar 8.

1st day in ca.

best way to start it?

oh, vita mix, how i've missed you!

1. green smoothie.

princess2 liked the new morning tradition!

2. as we decided on our adventure direction for the day

we tried to ask google to find "free parking" in san fran.

this was his response...

"the following pages became unresponsive..."
okay, we get it. impossible request.

3. classy street sign, that needed to be documented,

on our walk through chinatown.

why don't we have more of these signs?

4. 1st stop. tony's pizza napoletana. lunch.

delicious bread and dipping sauces.

delicious fried sting beans.

and delicious pizza.

seriously, such good food!
and outdoors!

princess2 liked dropping the cheese on the ground,

 but i forgave her.

5. found a funky vintage clothing store.

i die for the inexpensive and adorable clothes in that store.

minxy. go there.

6. 2nd stop. humphry slocombe. ice cream.

crazy ice cream flavors.

didn't love any of them.

7. princess2 decided to get lemoncello...

which has alcohol in it...

she only had a couple bites before tossing it,

but we blamed all of her weird decisions thereafter on the alcohol.
8. 3rd stop. dynamo donuts. donuts.
we became bitter, as they were out of donuts at 3pm.
boo. lame donut people.

9. 4th stop. see's candies. for candy. obviously.

princess2 and i like to go to the one on camino real in so. san fran

 cause it's one of our mom's old haunts.

mmmm....

best chocolate suckers in the world.

10. then princess2 proceeded to get us lost on the way back,

but it was because of the alcohol*... most likely.

which we thought was funny and we saw pretty sites so it all worked out.

11. after a whole day of wishing i lived in a big city

 and seriously considering moving to ca,

i received a life changing phone call

 which required a whole weekend of thinking...

*we do not actually believe princess2 became intoxicated.
