christmas

I'm a huge fan of traditions. In fact, my myers briggs personality description says that I'm a "guardian of traditions." It's true. Some may find it annoying, but I like it. I hope my future kids like traditions cause they are probably gonna have a lot of them.

Here are a few traditions (old and new) I participated in this Christmas season.

1. wearing tacky christmas sweaters at christmas parties... or just around the house.
Me and my friend A at a work party.
We won awards for our outfits.
This is so you know I'm serious. This is my hero.

2. Christmas caroling. Preferably always with jingle bells.
Cute nephew tjab singing at the neighbors with jingle bells.
ps. i did not make him wear that flower hat.
3. Christmas pixies that bring pj's that "magically" appear on your bed on Christmas Eve.
tjab in his new Christmas pj's from the pixies.

4. painting/baking sugar cookies for Santa.

5. amazing Christmas present giving
tjab with huge, new glasses. He got more amazing gifts, but I love this pic.
My dad always makes Christmas a big, magical experience--and makes it
his goal to make our dreams come true. Last year I was surprised with a Canon Rebel T1i,
which was going to be my birthday and Christmas for a while, but this year he surprised me
with a new sigma 18-200mm DC lens! He loves me so much and I am so grateful to have such
an amazingly kind father.

6. breakfast at McDonald's -- day after Christmas
tjab contemplating whether or not he
should get on the play place.

***ps. I do recognize that a lot of my pictures are of tjab, but I don't have kids... and he's so cute.***

7. playing games (okay... this one is all year round)

cousin-in-law Al. He's the smart one that goes to "Berkley."
8. going to Temple Square
Of course, it's better at night with the lights that are up for Christmas,
but this is a great view too!

9. and participating in Savior of the World with these amazing people...

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
