my day in a nutshell. jan 11.

1. stayed up til 1am talking with a visiting friend.
2. remembered my childhood, slightly possessed umbrella cockatoo, princess.
3. made the grown-up decision to go back to bed after realizing 7am was too early.
4. did my hair differently.
5. wore a new shirt (that only my mom would say was bought to fill the voids in my life...)
6. helped K come up with a brilliant blog title... and it's much cooler than mine.
7. applesauce. ate it.
8. was given a new assignment at work.
9. found a warm spot in the office.
10. lunch provided at work (pulled pork, delicious.)
11. K's maccaroni band.
12. shared my new brilliant work-out plan for the new year... that i'm gonna start next week.
13. awkward elevator silence.
14. met cute kids at the office. one wearing a tiara and the other demanding his name was steve-o.
15. remembered to fear not, and trust that everything that is supposed to happen, will happen.
16. listened to phil collins in the car... brought back amazing childhood (and some more recent) memories of driving in my dads car, watching him drum the steering wheel and sing along. favorite. thing. ever.
17. found toilet paper in mel and alex's car.
18. made it to the top of a climb that i almost gave up on.
alex was my coach and cheerleader so i could make it to the top of the 5.8!
19. washed my hands.
20. mel and i were the last two customers at five guys. so happy we were not forced to eat at chipotle.
21. i made numerous clever and quite hilarious, i might add, puns... i laughed at them.
22. watched mel & alex spontaneously and simultaneously begin dancing in the car to pumped up classy 80s music.
23. i now have "good sore" arms.
24. my bed is calling my name.
25. i'm using all my self-control to not watch csi and just go to bed.
night.

more photos from rock climbing...
i was a pretty great coach too.
so was mel.
look at those, obviously pro rock climbers... rolled up jeans and chalk.
that's all you need to fit in.
5.7 = piece of cake.
me and mel... rock climbing...
