katie and i signed for our new apartment!

to celebrate we had our first roommate date.

and then the first dance party {consisting of one song} started.

finally it's been getting warm!

in honor of spring we had a bbq!

the padre and i spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen

whipping up old and new bbq treats.

i love spending time with him.

1. tjab and i went to the park.

we listened to our echoes.

we looked through a periscope.

tjab found a new friend.

we read new words.

we smiled at the dinosaurs.

we swung on the swings.

we pretended to be a bee in the beehive.

we went down the slide.

we made music.

i fed him healthy food.

we got ice cream cause he was a good listener.

2. katie and i went to the closing of furniture warehouse...

nothing.

3. we got pedicures.

i suffered through it...

i'm too ticklish to fully enjoy the experience.

4. then we spent time exploring the new city creek mall.

1. laundry.

my sweater was fixed from the highlighter fiasco.

spent the evening practicing our song,

talking,

laughing

and planning.

we went to j dawgs for lunch.

it definitely one of the top things i will miss in slc.

nothing is more beautiful than this.

miguel had never been before.

he didn't get it and we all judged him.

and then we talked about illegal immigration.

1. today i stopped by tjmaxx

i found this glorious chair.

2. before checking out katie's washer/dryer prospect,

i called A to make sure someone knew where i was just in case i never made it home...

very nice man, very nice washer/dryer.

yeah! we're gonna have a washer/dryer!

today was all about food...

i was so happy to actually had a lunch break.

lauren and i enjoyed our lunch while watching

after a very long day at work

i gathered my strength to make a real dinner.

1. i work with some amazing people.

today katie and i found the apartment we will live in!

happy st. patrick's day!

today was filled with running errands!

i helped out at the high school,

look at that masterpiece!
i painted that grey box perfectly...

went to sunflower,

and i found the comfiest skirt.

1. warm, sunny day calls for sunglasses!

2. my plate of healthy st. patty's day food!

my work likes to celebrate every holiday.
last year was unhealthy snacks.
this year was healthy snacks.

3. after searching for the entrance to the city creek food court for about 20 min. 

we found it!

and mcdonald's was our only choice.

at that point we were in such a hurry that we had to eat while we walked to the tabernacle.

people stared at us. this happens often though.

we're over it.

katie and her food were almost blown away!

and we made it!

and the orchestra concert was beautiful!

then we turned to ice cream and modern family.

what a wonderfully great day!

1. i went to the dentist to get a filling.

after working late, i went to princess1's to be with tjab while he sleeps.

first. he is adorable. and so sincere. love him.

um... let me introduce you to bessie--
this is the longest dog in the world.

i'm a great babysitter.

thanks to netflix i started watching the first season of parks&rec.

1. today i head back to utah, but not before visiting with mel one more time.

princess2 and i drove out there to find food before going to her house.

2. we found a cute bakery, but it was closed on tuesdays... weird.

but that didn't matter because we found la boulange and are happier with this choice.

3. josh and tjab came to pick me up from the airport.

and before i returned to work we made a quick stop at costco

where tjab found a giant stuffed moose he wants for his birthday.

4. when i returned to work i had to break the news to my boss about my new job.

this would be a lot easier if i didn't love my jobs.

1. this morning i made a life-changing phone call

and accepted a new, grown-up job.

it feels so unreal.

2. princess2 and i went to zumba again.

3. then we met up with mel at walnut creek for food and shopping!

ah! i have missed panera so much.
soup? amazing.
croutons? life changing.

4. after shopping, mel and i met up with al at berkeley for pho.

so yummy!

5. again, we might have been full, but not too full for scrumptious dessert crepes!

6. annabelle came for our car ride back to princess2's house.
